	Purpose: To fit different-size workers, or different postures for the same workers To allow users to alternately key and write on the same surface without slumping or hunching their shoulders To reduce back problems by allowing users to alternate standing and sitting during the day.

Height Adjustable Work Surface
These flat surfaces are generally height adjustable in increments, either manually or electronically.

Sit-Stand Workstation
A sit-stand workstation features a height-adjustable work surface, monitor stand, and keyboard/mouse tray, allowing the worker to alternate between working in the sitting and standing positions.

Ergonomists suggest that the best working position is your "next position" - ie., it is important to change your working stance throughout the day. The only way to accomplish this with the widest range of movement is to have the ability of sitting and standing while working. ISE's Shift tables provide for maximum versatility and height adjustment for users from the 5th to the 95th percentile.
